The Battle of Sowerby Bridge

When asked for permission to use one of Yirdy's songs, he responded, "You are welcome to use anything you wish. My preference would be the song from the "MacBones and the `B`Band CD": "The Battle of Sowerby Bridge". My main reason for this is that I assume all the other choices would be instrumental music. My song, as I recall, was fairly popular with the audience at Bones Fest IX. It would also be a possiblity that someone somewhere might learn it and continue the tradition of passing on folk songs (words below.) Yirdy Machar
